Gopachal Parvat

Situated on the mountainous terrain at the slopes of Gwalior Fort, Gopachal Parvat contains unique statues of Jain Tirthankaras.The idol of Lord Parshvanath seated on lotus (carved out of a single stone) is the largest in the world, towering at 47 feet in height and 30 feet in breadth.
A series of 26 Jain statues in a single line makes a pictorial appeal to the eyes. Built within 1398 to 1536 by Tomar kings- these Jain Tirthkankara statues are one of a kind in architecture and a treasure trove of old Indian heritage and culture. Gopachal Parvat is approximately located at a distance of 2 km from railway station and bus stand.

Gurudwara

Gurudwara Data Bandhi Chhod was built in the memory of 6th Sikh Guru named Guru Hargobind Singh. It is located in the Gwalior fort. On the hilly slopes of Gwalior fort one can see Gopachal Parvat which has unique statues of Jain Tirthankars.
